Respiratory Doctors

What are we looking for?

Precise requirements may differ slightly between NHS Trusts, but on the whole we are looking for doctors with:

  • Full GMC Registration and a licence to practice
  • Entry on the GMC Specialist Register
  • CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview)
  • CESR or European Community Rights GMC specialist registration
  • Appropriate Royal College Membership

A&E/Emergency Doctors

What are we looking for?

Precise requirements may differ slightly between NHS Trusts, but on the whole we are looking for doctors with:

  • Full GMC Registration with a Licence to practise.
  • Entry on Specialist Register in Emergency Medicine (or CCT expected within 6 months of interview date).
  • FRCEM or equivalent. ALS, ATLS/ETC and APLS/EPLS/EPALS provider.
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining (UK) CCT in Emergency Medicine.

Elderly Care Doctors

What are we looking for?

Precise requirements may differ slightly between NHS Trusts, but on the whole we are looking for doctors with:

  • The right to work in the UK
  • Valid Full Registration with the General Medical Council
  • Membership of the Royal College of Physicians or equivalent
  • Specialist Registration for geriatrics and GIM
  • Completed Higher Specialist Training (CCT) in Geriatrics or evidence of equivalent competency.
  • MRCP
  • Entry on the GMC specialist register via relevant CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview), relevant CESR or European Community Rights
