Service Manager – Leaving Care – Tameside £400 per hour
Salary: From £350 to £400 per day
We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and driven Service Unit Manager to lead our Leaving Care Service to achieve the best outcomes for our Cared for Children and Care Leavers. The role is offered on an interim basis whilst we progress permanent recruitment to the role.
A number of exciting changes and developments are taking place within our Leaving Care Service as we are committed to delivering on our local offer and to also work with our partners on improving the offer to care leavers.
You will need to ensure that the service is working towards our vision to provide an aspirational service to our children in care and care leavers and are able to work flexibly and creatively in order to achieve this.
You will need to be committed to providing the best possible outcomes for children in care and care leavers and ensure that corporate parenting principles and the local care leaver offer is being applied.
You will be responsible for managing Team Managers (Leaving Care Team & Transition Support), whilst driving the necessary changes within the service.
