HCL Social Care currently have an extremely interesting opportunity for a Senior Social Work Practitioner to work as an NAAS/KSS Coordinator as part of our client’s Workforce Development team.

This non case holding role has been specially created in order to support the development and change in practice our client is going through – this as an exciting opportunity not to be missed! This is a temporary role initially covering a 9 month period (though this has the potential to be extended).

About the Workforce Development Team

The Workforce Development (WFD) Team is expanding with a range of roles that will support delivery of the SCT Learning & Development training offer and the SCT Learning Hub which focuses on delivery and maintenance of L&D specific initiatives and projects. These diverse roles will be key to driving forward key aspects of the SCT improvement plan working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

Workforce Development Team is interlinked with the Beyond Auditing Team and Quality Assurance Team – together they work to address gaps in practice and learning. You will be helping to support the workforce to provide quality and meaningful intervention to the children, young people, families and carers.

About the role

This key Social Work role will drive forward the NAAS Implementation Plan, whilst embedding the Knowledge and Skills Statements (KSS) across the Social Work workforce.

You will ideally be an experienced Social Worker with:

  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent Report Writing Skills
