Community Mental Health Nurse Eating Disorders



Salary: From £26 to £30 per hour

Job description

HCL Mental Health are looking for Registered Mental Health Nurses to work in Oxford. This is to join the eating disorders team so would ideally have eating disorders experience.

The ideal candidate will provide specialist assessment, treatment and care reviews to patients and their families/ carers served by the Oxfordshire Adult Eating Disorder Service. To take responsibility for managing urgent clinical calls, including risk assessment and management. Responsibility for supporting team members in their decision making as well. To take a role in facilitating and/or co-facilitating clinical groups with patients and their carers. To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s philosophy, policies and procedures. To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service. In addition, to take responsibility for shared action planning as generated collaboratively within team away days and as directed by the leadership team.
