Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner

We are looking for an experienced Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join a Crisis Team based in Dorset.

You will be considered for these roles if you are Primary Mental Health Professionals, CAMHS Practitioners, CAMHS Social Worker, CAMHS Nurse, CAMHS RMN, and Mental Health Nurses.

Pay rate: £28 – £30per hour

Hours: Mon to Fri – 9am to 5pm.

This vacancy has an initial 3 – 6 month contract likely to be extended.

Brief Description of role:

  • Assessing new referrals to CAMHS, taking on CRISIS cases and working alongside other CAMHS Practitioners
  • Manage risk positively and able to make robust risk management plans
  • Provide an emergency assessment and intensive treatment and outreach response to children and young people with mental health needs

Skill/Experience:

  • Must have HCPC or NMC current registration
  • Must have previous CAMHS Crisis experience or transferrable skills from similar CAMHS role

Requirements:

Relevant qualification, e.g. CQSW, CSS, DipSW, Nursing, OT qualification
