Thursday 14th October is Allied Health Professionals Day, a time for healthcare specialists to come together and celebrate their hard work.

AHPs are now the second largest healthcare workforce, who are continuing to grow within the NHS.

Various events will take place across the country today to improve awareness of these particular roles, whether you are interested in a position, or would simply like to show support.

The 14th is the perfect day to acknowledge each of the 14 professions, these include:

  • Art Therapists
  • Drama therapists
  • Music therapists
  • Chiropodists and podiatrists
  • Dietitians
  • Occupational therapists
  • Operating department practitioners
  • Orthoptists
  • Osteopaths
  • Paramedics
  • Physiotherapists
  • Prosthetists
  • Orthoptists
  • Radiographers
  • Speech and language therapists

Here at HCL, we want to thank all our AHPs for their continued efforts to provide a quality service in what has been an unpredictable year for us all!
